punctuation is unclear, why is this?

There is no real way to know the punctuation via the audio, e.g. the semicolon. The UX piecemeal approach does not allow the context to even guess correctly in all cases. It's unclear why this is part of the test at the A1 level. The software UX needs to be improved if the pedagogy supports this.

Hola Neo

Thank you for your feedback. Could you clarify which part of the punctuation in the exercise is unclear to you? Knowing the specific areas where the confusion arises will help us better understand the issue and work towards improving the UX and the test design at the A1 level. We'd like to ensure the process is as smooth and intuitive as possible.

Hasta pronto

Hola Neo,

Dictation exercises are self-assessed and do not impact your overall score, which is based on lesson performance. We encourage students not to mark themselves down for punctuation errors during dictation exercises, because, as you mentioned, punctuation cannot always be discerned through listening. We suggest you do the same so that you can continue practicing without being discouraged.

Saludos cordiales,

Inma
