There’s no way of knowing whether the “you” represents a person (male/femal) or a person(s)/a group  formal/informal so I wrote: entendieran 

Cuando artistas colaboran con inteligencias artificiales   ( plural )

La IA continua continúa inspirando debates  ( singular ) 

I don't understand what's happening here?

Tan solo unos pocos años después de surgir como una curiosidad tecnológica

I'm very confused by this as according to the lesson, the structure:

'A tan solo + (length of time) + de' is used  to express an action occurring before another action.

I don't see why my answer ' a solo pocos años de.. '  is incorrect.

Just a question on Spanish cultural prosody . . .

In each story, the "mi" as in mi casa, mi ciudad, para mi, mi opinión, mi familia . . . is subdued rather than accentuated as a prosodaic emphasis. In English, my opinion, my family etc. would be naturally emphasized. Is it a Spanish "thing" to avoid doing that?
