There seems to be no pattern regarding when the nationality/adjective is -es or -as. In this question, it women are -es. In other questions, it is-as Nosotras vivimos en Dublin pero Sokos portuguesas. What am I missing?

1. Yo no sabía que ellos ya conocían a nuestro sobrino. 

2. Yo no sabía lo que ellos ya conocían a nuestro sobrino.  

What it be if the sentence is "I didn't know what they already knew our nephew."

Ella se mudó allí hace dos meses.   Is this correct?  The lesson says we can't use the preterite with hace + time.

I have been having difficulty choosing between the two above, I have read the lesson and the questions here.

In the lesson it states "

If we use debido a que, it can never be followed just by a noun, it needs a phrase."

But in your answer to a question here, you mention "debido a que" needs a CLAUSE, which is slightly different from a phrase in the text book I use to understand these things.  In my book it says a PHRASE is any two or more words that don't contain a verb, but a CLAUSE needs to me able to stand by itself and be understood.  Would you take a look and see if PHRASE or CLAUSE is the most appropriate for this lesson?  Gracias.

I know that it's not the topic of this lesson, but in the sample sentence "Luis y Marta se han vuelto una pareja aburrida," the translation given is "Luis and Marta have become a boring couple." Why not "Luis and Marta have become a bored couple"? 

Just a reminder that " sé" is also the affirmative imperative form of "ser" for "tú".

Ex: ¡Sé muy lista!

Why is it esta rather than estan when referring to las oficinas (plural of office)?

Does it have to be a specific duration with desde hace? Or could we say:

No visito desde hace mucho tiempo un pueblo tan bonito que este

And would it be incorrect to say:

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que visité un pueblo tan bonito que este.

...or is it just another way of saying the same thing?
