Could someone please clarify the vowel change from e->i on reir. It looks like it is just be dropping the e.

Can you explain the function of “lo” in Ella lo huele todo? Is it because oler needs an object?

I have 2 questions on this exercise:
that broke the monotony of black and white.
1-) re: que rompía la monotonía del blanco y negro.
I wrote: "del negro y blanco."
Could you tell me why the Spanish inverts the adjectives. (I even checked with Reverso and they translated it the same way.
2) re: and people liked it.
Kwizbot y a la gente le gustaba.
You y le gustaba a la gente.
Don't know why this particular arrangement would be the only one possible?

I looked on Wiktionary and noticed that ‘prediccion ‘ means ‘prediction’ in Spanish. When I took the quiz, why was ‘pronostico’ the correct answer?

The hint for the phrase "The clergy was the principal promotor ....." is to use the singular form of the verb for 'the clergy'." It should be singular form of the noun.
I enjoyed the history lesson in this exercise and definitely learned from seeing how the verbs "fundarse and instruirse" were used.

Tú no tendrías que decir nada. No tendrías que haberle dado la pistola.
How would you translate this? Here is my attempt:
You didn't have to say anything. You didn't have to give her the gun/pistol.
