"Adónde" or "Adonde", when movement is involvedLike Ian, I am confused by some of the examples given here, in particular:
Iremos adonde tú quieras, cariño >> We will go where (to whichever restaurant) you want, darling...
... which does involve movement, but despite that it uses 'donde' - with no accent !
And in the short quiz included in this site, I got this question wrong:
We are taking the children to where they can run around freely > Llevamos a los niños ________ puedan corretear libremente…. i.e., I [incorrectly !] chose "adónde" with an accent because it did seem to involve movement … (but no ! - it had to be "adonde").

I have breakfast at nine in the morning.I noticed in the above that the structure of the sentence is quite different.
Could it also be: Desayuno a las nueve por la mañana.
If yes/or no why and what would the difference in meaning.
Are there any rules/lessons concerning this?

My step by step translation is "You could have to me it said to me earlier / before."
Can you explain why to "to me" is repeated?

It sounds strange to me to say Ellos fueron amigos. Isn't it better to say Ellos eran amigos, when there is no time specification?

I noticed these two sentences used the preposition 'a' instead of 'que' in these sentences. Is there a reason why?
Las ventas fueron superiores a los costes.
The sales were higher than the expenses.
Los costes fueron inferiores a las ventas.
The expenses were lower than the sales.
¿Cuál es el porcentaje de sal? ??
Es al menos 5 por ciento puro. ??
Hay al menos un 5 por ciento de impurezas. ??
Why does the lesson say to use Hay with “It is foggy” but Está with “It is sunny”? I would think both would use Está
Also the lesson says to use Hay when it is followed by a noun, but Foggy is an adjective.
