Note that the construction tal vez (maybe) accepts the indicative and the subjunctive moods with no change in meaning.
What do you mean with the "maybe" after tal vez?
I have seen “sometimes” translated as a veces. Is that wrong? Should it always be algunas veces?
Could you explain 'dime' for me please. Would this be classed as an Imperative? I'm thinking especially of sentences like, 'Dime algo'

Proteger becomes protejo in first person present tense. Can’t you pretty much always dro the o and have the stem for the present subjunctive? For me, it is easier to remember.
Hola, tengos dudas en la acentuación de las palabras arriba. Según lo que he estudiado "compráoslos" no sería correcto. La tilde debería ser en o: "cómpraoslos".
También en otras palabras tengo dudas de la accentuación.

While translating the verb study in spanish , I think we will use preterite indefinido (pretertio perfecto simple) because of time frame (during the 90) instead of preterite imperfecto.
Please guide me on this.
Why can't we use 'hecho en casa' for homemade instead of casero/a?
