How is dictation scored?

I made some errors, had some typos, some dropped plurals, missed accents, etc., but I got most of it right. But then the score said "0 out of 60. Missed your morning coffee?" I think I do not understand how the dictation is scored. Could you please explain?

Question 1 "Learn about CAR verbs"______ por todas partes pero no lo encontré. I searched everywhere, but didn't find it. (Conjugate buscar in the preterito indefinido. I answered "busque," but was marked wrong. It gives busco for the correct answer for 1st person preterito indefindo.

Gustar - personal attraction

Good morning, please could you tell me how to say the following sentences which express personal attraction using the verb gustar:

The men liked her.

She liked the men.

Juan and Pedro liked Anna .

Anna liked Juan and Pedro.

Juan and Pedro liked Maria.

Also, please clarify if the personal “a” has to be written when referring to a name eg. Anna, Juan.

pretérito perfecto = past perfect, no?
ha ha aborrecido is present perfect, no? había aborrecido is past perfect, no?

If not, then I am totally confused with the Qwiziqs . . .

I don't understand this sentence structure¡No puedo creer lo que ven mis ojos! Why is it necessary to include the verb 'ven' in the sentence? It makes perfect sense without it? "I can't believe my eyes."

Using 'estar' to say 'there is'

'Then there is my beloved sister Luisa'

The answer is given as 'Luego está mi querida hermana'

I have never seen estar used instead of haber to say 'there is' so could you please explain the usage here

Add info to por si lessonHola, a suggestion, add to the por si lesson that when it’s used as a precaution the verb that follows uses the (imperfect) subjunctive.Gracias. Shirley.
