I am confused about the verbs 'oir' and 'escuchar'
Would it be "estoy escuchando music" o "estoy oyendo musica" are both correct?
Hi
Why is the following sentence in the imperfect subjunctive? Could it not use the present?
Me gustaría que vieran el deporte como una herramienta para empoderarse.
Thank you!
When is one preferred over the other?
I know the -- if after a noun is doesn't make since with " which or that," then use " de que" if you intend it to be " that"
But like what about the other times?
I swear it almost seems like other than what I said above, it's interchangeable.
Thanks.
Hi there, I have (belatedly) discovered Notebooks and am finding these a great way to test myself across different levels and hone in on my weak points. I've added a load of lessons, but it feels like it's focussing very much on the higher level (B2) ones. I want to interleave my practice with my weak points from A2 and B1 too.
Question: how does it decide which lessons to test from a notebook? Is it random? Or based on your current %? Or something else?
Also, I'd LOVE a feature where it just quizzes you from your weakest lessons *of those you have already been quizzed on*, across all levels. Basically that's what I'm trying to achieve.
Couldn´t sueter be a suitable option for jersey?
Also, what is the principal for "de" after parar or dejar in the last sentence, "no parará de reír. " or is this something to memorize.
Can you explain to me? What is semi-singular verb?
Thank u so much
Was the Collection of verses published when the poet was 19 or just that one poem? Slightly ambiguous English phrasing . . .
For example,
"It bothers us that you never studied Spanish", or
"I'm so happy that your boyfriend went to Harvard".
"I wish we had met sooner"
Would we use the imperfect subjunctive?
Thanks.
NOT OK Por favor Marta, les trae unas copas de vino.
but it is wrong. Why this below is correct answer? I though the "les" can be put in front of verb and behind.
OK Por favor Marta, tráeles unas copas de vino.
So cnfusing and it's just B1 😢
"It's a good job..." seems to be a bad translation. Perhaps you meant to write "it's a good thing..."
