Hello, please can you explain why the above sentence is using a subjunctive conjunction! As far as I was a aware, repetition, description, ifs, mental states and obligations use subjunctives, but I do not see anything like that here.
Why "olviden sus problemas" instead of "se olviden de sus problemas" or "olviden de sus problemas"?
Does “Vámanos” fit in here? I have heard it used but don’t really understand the reasoning behind it. Is it another informal command for “Let’s go” to ourselves, like “Vamos”, or is it from the verb “Irse”? Sorry, I know it is not part of this lesson you are teaching but I have been curious about it.

Two questions
1. Could "trasladar" be used instead of mudar?
2. Since the subject of the story has taken a decision to move [herself] to another city, would the pronominal form mudarse / trasladarse be appropriate?
