I was marked wrong for answering "Nosotros LES damos juguetes a nuestros hijos" instead of just "damos" I thought that the indirect object pronoun HAD to be used. What am I missing? When should I be using it?

the english in this sentence comes across as a bit strange/odd. You never say" I become" etc in english .You would say "I will become" or "I would become"
I will become a vegetarian while my sister becomes a vegan
I will become a vegetarian as long as my sister becomes a vegan
I would become a vegetarian as long as/only if my sister becomes a vegan.
However e > i verbs are different as they keep the e > i change all they way through their conjugation in El Presente de Subjuntivo.

If definite articles are used on the subject of a sentence, why are they used with ríos and vegetación? Isn't the subject of the sentence acid rain? If a word that receives the action of the verb (contaminar) is the object , doesn't that make ríos and vegetación objects not subjects?

la chica que le gusta - is ambivalent. It can mean both "the girl he likes" and "the girl who likes him"?
The English asked for "any animals" on that last sentence. So would the better translation be ¿ tienes algunos animales en casa?
