Hi, can we get translations for the Spanish dictation exercises? That would be an awesome feature. Currently I translate everything by hand. (Don't mean to sound demanding. Just as a suggestion for future implementations maybe. I would probably put the translation on the same page where we get a chance to compare our answer to the one kwizbot expects. Or, if that reveals too much context, at the end of the lesson.)
Hi. Please tell me about the use of "al dar" for a time. Thanks.
I answered the question with the plural they form vienen and you marked it wrong and it wasn't wrong
Hola,
Update - I just found the lesson on this. When to use the perfect tense versus the simple past (Perfecto vs Indefinido)
I live in the US and just switched to Latin American Spanish, since it is more likely Spanish speakers I meet will speak this way. I am curious if El Pretérito Perfecto is used in LatAm Spanish when not talking about experiences.
The organic learning curve and the intelligent and variable selection of topics in Kwiziq are priceless. Kwiziq enhances my motivation and progress like no other Spanish learning software can do. I have tried many of them and their shortcomings are now so obvious.
Big kudos to you all!
James
________ del colegio tendrás que hacer tus deberes.
When you get back from school you will have to do your homework.
Cuando volverás
Cuando hayas vuelto
Cuando volverías
Cuando volviste
The right answer is "hayas vuelto" , but I don't understand why "volverás" is wrong.
Just want to mention that they often use this "Impersonal Third Person Plural" construction for newspaper headlines here in latin America.
Paracaídas not paracaidas
Is there a rule for -cir and -cer verbs that are preceded by a consonant? Eg in a test the verb was zurcir in the yo form: zurzo and not zurzco, so does this form of verb only change the c > z as a rule?
