why is a future tense used in this sentence? could we use some of the past tenses instead?

Why was "Yo predigo que vas a ganar la loteria" marked wrong and the correct answer given was: "Predigo que..." ?
I have always thought it an option to use the pronoun with the verb even though it can be left out.
Hi, in a C1 quiz I just took, the question was the following and I entered the subjunctive as the answer (hubiera estado) but was marked wrong. I don't understand why.
