The computer is so slow that I can't finish my work.
We do not use vosotros in Colombia, this is really messing up my tests. Is there a way to avoid this? It is just confusing to learn something that is not necessary.
Can I switch the two parts of the sentence and keep the basic structure of each clause and keep the meaning? For example, instead of "Haciendo unos muebles de madera me corté con la sierra.", could I say: "Me corté con la sierra haciendo unos muebles de madera."

Could we have used the infinitive for "... so I don't catch a cold" ? >> [rendering it as: "... para no coger un resfriado"].
My grammar book (by Butt and Benjamin) implies that 'por' might also be permissible here: i.e. "... por no coger un resfriado" - when it means "out of a wish or a desire to not catch a cold". Thus, I am wondering if [when a negative is involved] - "por no ... +infinitive" might actually be more common than "para no...+ infinitive" ?
El padre le da la receta a la señorita. Senorita was the indirect object noun, why add to “le” in front of the da？And,：Qué le hace el médico al enfermo? Enfermo was also the indirect object noun, why add to “le”?
And, ：Le receta el médico al enfermo unas pastillas? Enfermo was also the indirect object noun, why add to “le”?
