pronouncing the S at the end of nuestroS

I don't hear the S at the end of nuestros when the speaker says nuestroS recuerdos. Am I just failing to hear it, or is it in fact silent?

If I want to ask a question, can I say "puedo preguntarte algo"? ie. can I ask you something (meaning a question)?

position of "you"

Does usted/tú have to be after the verb, or could it also be in front of the verb?

which of these are allowed:

¿Dónde vive usted?

¿Dónde usted vive?

¿Dónde vives tú?

¿Dónde tú vives?

the name of the tense

Hi, I was organizing my tenses chart and realize there's only "Pretérito perfecto simple" that can find "fui" in both ser and estar. I cannot find a page that shows "El Pretérito Indefinido", I'm wondering are this two tenses the same thing?

A couple of questions

I have a couple of questions:

How to determine when to use en/el or no article in sentences like Me gusta ir a la playa en verano

From the exercise:

I like going to the beach in summer

Kwizbot Me gusta ir a la playa en verano
You Me gusta ir a la playa el verano

In writing the adjective for this next section, it made me realize that I need info on forming adjectives and wondered if you have any lessons on forming adjectives:

For example, from the test:

Re: is very relaxing

Kwizbot es muy relajante
You es muy relajado

Why is the conditional inapt?

Quiz question: "Si envías un correo hoy, probablemente ________ respuesta mañana." The conditional is apparently wrong here, but I don't think I understand why. Wouldn't it translate as "If you send a letter today, you would probably get a reply tomorrow."?

Question re: todo or toda

Hi,

Kwizbot Desde allí arriba, podíamos ver toda Barcelona.

You could also say: De ahí arriba, podíamos ver todo Barcelona

My question:

Can you use both “todo” and “toda” here, and if so, why?

Also could you say “ver todo a Barcelona”?

Can we use a gerund instead

This is an excellent lesson. Very clearly explained.

I understand the idea of using the imperfect to picture what is happening in the moment. But there is another tense for this as well. I forget the name of it, so I will just use an example.

"La profesora abría la puerta."

"La profesora estaba abriendo la puerta."

Would the choice between these two tenses be up to the speaker, or would there be a grammatical rule that tells us which one to use?
