"recetar" en lugar de "prsecribir"

Kwizik didn´t accept my answer on the quiz for this area when I used 'recetado' instead of  'prescrito'. Is there a reason?

Hola Gerald R.

While "habría recetado" (from recetar) is grammatically correct and fits the meaning ("would have prescribed"), it doesn't follow the explicit instruction in the hint, which asks to conjugate "prescribir", not another verb.

Un saludo

Silvia
