Confused by example

In the example: Estoy por prestarle yo el dinero a Carmen...

I am confused by the inclusion of the first person pronoun "yo". Please explain why "yo" is needed/included in the sentence.

Incorrect Sentence TranslationNo creo que nunca haya una boda tan magnífica como la vuestra.I don't believe there's ever been such a wonderful wedding as yours.
Creo que esto debría leer "I don't believe THERE WILL ever be such a wonderful wedding as yours."
"Been" in English is a past tense verb. This is the subjunctive of the present tense.

Huir Present Tense ConjugationI'm still a bit confused about where huís is used. Is it used in specific regions of Spain? In specific social classes in Spain? In specific towns or villages in Spain? In specific contexts in Spain? What other countries or regions outside of Spain use huís as a bisyllabic word? Is it widespread or more-or-less negligible, even though not incorrect? To be specific, living in Toledo Spain, should I aim for one syllable or two syllables, huis or huís? If I am traveling to Chile, should I use huis or huís? Thanks so much !
