Difference between solo and solamente

David L.C1Kwiziq Q&A regular contributor

Difference between solo and solamente

He took only a book to read - no llevó más que un libro para leer.

I put  llevó solamente un libro which was marked wrong although solo un libro was shown as correct.

I can't find a clear explanation of the difference between the two.

Gracias

Hola David

Yes, you're right - another option is to use "solamente" or "únicamente" - these will be added to the exercise.

Gracias y saludos cordiales
