Using an online translator to translate "Then it can be demonstrated that the statement is true."

I get "Entonces se puede demostrar que la afirmación es verdadera."

In the English translation it is optional whether you say "it can be demonstrated" or "one can demonstrate".

Is this the same construct as the one covered in this lesson? If so, should there be examples of it above? If not, is there a lesson that covers this one?

Please could you let me know if I've understood these correctly in the context of the exercise: 

-higos a brevas= once in a blue moon.

-a tope= fully, to the fullest.

-de punta en blanco= dressed up to the nines, dressed to kill. 

-se mantiene en sus trece= digging his heels in, sticking to his guns (refusing to go).

Also, I'm unsure about the sentence which includes "ya he liado a mis amigos..."  Does liar here mean 'to manage to' or 'to trick'?

As Michael says, pronouns are not easy. 

But why add to our misery by adding the ‘insignificant’ note regarding the position of pronouns with infinitives, imperatives and gerunds. That’s surely worth a lesson all of its own. 

Why are you giving me vosotros in a LA Spanish course?

On a quiz question, my answer was marked wrong because I read "que se vaya" (irse) as "go away" instead of "is".  This seems wrong to me.  Irse means to GO away, not to BE away.  The suggested answers don't even test the difference between "por mi" and "para mi".

What does "Por mí que se vaya bien lejos." mean?

I didn't want him to be far away.

I don't care if he is far away.

He went away just for me.

In my opinion he should go far away.

I think I saw an earlier lesson when you use bastante and other words only in a singular form. But I can't find the other lesson. Hopefully you can direct me to the lesson :)

I have worked through all of the lessons for A2 level Spanish and I have been hopingthet the selected lessons would focus on those that I needed to work on, those with a lower completion percentage.  However,  I am now only seeing those with over 90% completion. If I make a dumb mistake I get penalized on something I really do know but never seem to be able to focus on the "weaker" topics. This doesn't make sense to me.

The question was given in this format "Está bien que vosotros ________ todas las noches."

It seems like an impersonal statement but isn't the usual structure Ser+Adjetivo+Que ..... hence: "Es bueno que leáis todas las noches?"
