No + verb + más que

In all the examples, “no” comes before the verb, but it’s not explained in the lesson. Is it always required?

"Ideas" y "de casa"

In both cases, I was hesitant about whether to include the definite articles and I erred on the side of including them - which was wrong.

#1 - I put "vamos a intercambiar las ideas" instead of just "ideas". I've found that in English we use the definite articles much less than in Spanish, so I think I need a refresher of when to use them and when to leave them out! Can you point me in the right direction?

#2 - And with "voy a salir de casa temprano" , I actually had put this correct answer first but then doubted myself and put "voy a salir temprano de la casa". Can you explain why this is wrong? Thanks!

Is there an opportunity to slow down the speaking voices. I find the masculine voice speaking almost as fast as is possible. Seems very rushed always.

why have you used conocía in the test question? wouldn't sabía be more apropriate? no sabía nada de la historia...?

"debido a" que or "debido a"

Hello Inma,

I have been having difficulty choosing between the two above, I have read the lesson and the questions here.

In the lesson it states "

Debido a que

If we use debido a que, it can never be followed just by a noun, it needs a phrase."

But in your answer to a question here, you mention "debido a que" needs a CLAUSE, which is slightly different from a phrase in the text book I use to understand these things. In my book it says a PHRASE is any two or more words that don't contain a verb, but a CLAUSE needs to me able to stand by itself and be understood. Would you take a look and see if PHRASE or CLAUSE is the most appropriate for this lesson? Gracias.
