I will tell my son that you have called. VS
I will tell my son that you called.
Le dire a mi hijo que lllamaste.
Hi
Forgive me if there is already a thread addressing this question.
I was a bit confused about a question that began with "no dudo que..." and asked for the verb to be conjugated in the present subjunctive. I followed the hint and it was marked as correct even though it ran contrary to my prior understanding of the subjunctive. I thought "dudo que..." indicated subjunctive because there was uncertainty/doubt but "no dudo que..." negates the doubt making it certain and thus, requires the indicative.
Is this an exception to the rule or did I simply mislearn this topic?
Thanks
Nathan
Hi,
On this exercise the question is
He pedido a la mensajería que ........... el paquete por la tarde/ I have asked the delivery company to deliver the parcel in the afternoon.
The hint is to conjugate the ellos form of entregar in El Presente de Subjuntivo.
Why is this to be in the plural form and not singular? As it states la mensajería/ the company which is singular.
In what area of the Spanish speaking world is "genial" pronounces "hen yen"?
Here you have: la mitad de los alumnos fueron al viaje.
Half the students went on the trip. But also you gave la mitad de los jóvenes salió de la ciudad
For the quiz question: "Mira a ese chico, ¡qué bueno está!
having both
" Look at that guy! He is hot!"
and
" Look at that guy! He is cute!"
as possible answers is confusing. In American English at least, there can be a great deal of overlap between hot and cute in terms of indicating sexual attractiveness. (Cute can also be applied to, say, a puppy whereas it's unlikely you would say a puppy was hot unless you meant it quite literally. It's debatable whether a cute puppy could grow into a hot dog.)
Why is está bien correct when it is a permanent condition - shouldn't it be only es buena.
Hola,
Veo que solamente puedo ingresar hasta nivel B2 con Kwiziq español. Pero con Kwiziq frances, C1 es disponible. ¿Cuando podremos hacer lo mismo con español?
Gracias.
Nelson
The question in the lesson was "Do you have a toaster?" (it did not specify formal or informal 'you'). My answer was Tiene usted and was marked wrong. I think it's correct
