The audio sounds like cab ree ace vs cab ree ice. Dictionaries use the “ice” pronunciation. Where is the “ace” pronunciation used? Thanks, Shirley.

Pronunciation of ais ending
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Conjugate irregular -er verbs caber and saber in the conditional tense in Spanish (El Condicional Simple)"
Asked 2 years ago
Hola Shirley
I've changed the voice used for those questions testing "cabríais" (conditional) because the automated voices that were used before weren't very clear and it was too fast. It should sound better now and you should be able to distinguish better the sound "ice" at the end, which is indeed the correct pronunciation for the end "-íais" : [ee - ice]
To have a pronunciation [ace] as you said you would have to have this ending: -éis. You find this ending in the vosotros form of the future, e.g. "Vosotras no cabréis en el cine." (You won't fit in the cinema.)
I hope it helps.
Saludos
Inma
