Mi perro mueve la cola cuando está contento.
My dog moves its tail when he is happy.

The dog moves its tail is a literal translation but in English we would say  " The dog wags its tail"

"The dog moves its tail" sounds quite odd.

Note: There is a spelling error in this sentence: My dog moves its tails when he is happy.. Should be ":its tail" (singular).
