Why is it "va a" and not "vas a" when using gustarse

Hi!

I noticed that when writing that "you" like something, you change the tú form from "vas a" to "va a" even though you are writing that "you" will like something. For example, the sentence "you are going to like this therapy" is written as "Te va a gustar...." instead of "Te vas a gustar..." even though you are not instructed to write in usted form. Could someone please explain why this is?

translation - meaning of example

A su vecino le robaron la moto el otro día.

(Le) robaron la moto el otro día a su vecino.

They stole his neighbour's bike the other day.

My brain wants to translate this as:

The other day they stole the bike for his neighbor. (su=his, her, your, its, their)

My point being that I think of the indirect object pronoun (le) as to/for him/her your/it

The word "for" being the key point that confuses me in this case, I would guess.

I would think the sentence would use "de" and be "Robaron el moto el otro día de su vecino." and not have the indirect object pronoun.

Help please!

Desde cuándo?

Is it correct to say, 'Desde cuándo haces tal cosa?'. For example, 'Desde cuándo tocas el piano?', to elicit the answer, 'desde mi infancia'.

using "ni que fuera"

I know for "¡Ni loca te presto dinero!" if you want to use "ni que fuera" it goes: "Ni que fuera loca. . . " but what do you replace "presto" with? i.e. "Ni que fuera loca te ___ dinero."

Estar vs Sentir vs SentirseIn the same exercise, I translated "he wouldn't have felt so afraid" as "no se habría sentido tan asustado" but again it was corrected as "no habría estado tan asustado" and "no habría sentido tanto miedo". In the explanation pages for sentir and sentirse, we are told that we should use adj/adv with sentirse because it is about how one feels and with sentir noun should be used because it is about what you feel. I preferred to use sentirse+adj. I am confused why the version I used not accepted.
