In this piece, the future events are expressed using ir, a, and the infinitive. My two-part question is whether, in the circumstances depicted in the piece, the simple future tense and/or the present tense could be used to express the future and under what circumstances each of the three choices is either indicated or preferred.

Why is the verb contar used instead of decir in the sentence  El dependiente me está contando 

If I understand this correctly,(always a big "if") I think you should make reference to any irregularities in the ending.  E.g., first person singular ends in "e" and third person has no accent.  Maybe there are others.

Could you translate this as:

Espero que llegaras anoche

Mil gracias

"if you want a sweetie, eat your soup".  lol, to me, sweetie is sweetheart, or some other affectionate term. Sweet = caramelo. 

There is a hole in your explanation.

You say: 

"In sentences where the indirect object is represented by "a + pronoun", and it is at the beginning of the sentence...."

but you do not explain what happens if "a + pronoun" is at the end of the sentence.

Is the indirect object pronoun required or optional in that case?

eg: Can "Me lo ha comprado a mí." be written as "lo ha comprado a mí."?

Shouldn't it be 'casas colgandas?' since it is used as an active form as in english 'hanging'?

I have a Spanish grammar book that teaches this construction of the passive voice: ser + past participle + por... is this NOT correct? That same book does not mention using estar 

Hi. There is an exact same question in the quiz as there is in this lesson. When I put the correct answer from this lesson, it was marked as wrong.
