using the preterite + hace

Ella se mudó allí hace dos meses. Is this correct? The lesson says we can't use the preterite with hace + time.

Taking forgetting into account?

Do levels degrade over time? (Like, if I’m 100% on A0 right now, will that go down over time so that I’m forced to review as I forget?) If not, I think that’s an important feature to add.

2 clarification questions re ya sea/ya fuera

Using the example from above:

Tenía que conseguir cualquier trabajo, ya fuera de día o de noche.

I had to get a job, either a day job or a night job.

1) can it be used with MORE than 2 choices?

ex: "I had to get a job, either a day job, a night job, or a part-time job."

and

2) Not sure how ask gramatically... could it also be used in just 1 phrase?ex: "I had to get either a day job or a night job."

Hola Inma,

Is the use of "ser" in this sentence to indicate where the carnival took place? It caught me out because "It was in Cádiz" sounded as if it was talking about the location (estar), rather than being about where the event happened. If so, I remembered that there is a specific lesson about this in Level A1 "Using Ser not Estar when talking about when / where something takes place." I'm not sure if my thinking is right.

If it is, would it be a good idea to include this lesson in the "All related grammar and vocal list?"
