several questionsHola!
Espero que la Navidad haya sido muy especial y que el año nuevo también sea muy especial para usted y para todos en el equipo.
1st Section:
It reminds me of the King Cake
Kwizbot Me recuerda al roscón de reyes
You Lo me recuerdo del roscón de reyes.
I was wondering
1)why is the direct object not used here,
2) and what is the rule and lesson for understanding why “recuerda” and not “recuerdo”. I had a thought that it might be similar to “me gusta”…
3) why the use of “al” and not of “del”
2nd section:
Question:
Why is ser is used and not estar:
because its shape is similar
Kwizbot porque su forma es similar/ parecida
You porque su forma está similar
Muchas gracias,
Nicole
It might be useful to extend the article un poco beyond the values of 1/10. So giving the rules for 1/16, 1/32 and so on.
I found the speaker very hard to understand.
In this question (I waited for them), it appears to me that "them" is an indirect object pronoun. Below, Gruff, a Kwiziq team member says this. However, this question is answered by using a direct object pronoun. I got it wrong when I used the indirect pronoun. Which is it? I would appreciate having this clarified as I keep getting this question and I don't know how to answer it. Thanks,
Hi, translators are saying it should be:
Qué día tan maravilloso
but
Qué terrible accidente
Can you explain the different placement of the adjective in these examples please? And why "qué accidente tan terrible" doesnt' seem to be an option?
Thanks,
Jenny
Why uno and not unos?
Hola,
1. None of the examples use 'usted' or 'ustedes'. Can you use those or is gustar just not used in a formal way?
2. What if I want to say something like "Sarah likes David"? Do I still have to include the indirect pronoun? And use "a xxx" for the name of the person doing the liking?
like: "David le gusta a Sarah"
Fred.

Hola Inma y equipo,
As part of the 'All related grammar and vocab' list for this exercise, would I be right in saying that Inma's excellent lesson, that I've included here, should also be listed?
Using tener + participio to express the completion of an action (perífrasis verbal).
Gracias
Clara
