Fui el primera en llegar a la meta. ?I was the first (one) to reach the finish line.
Hola,
My online translator gives 'el campo nos aburre' for 'the countryside bores me'.
Is this an acceptable translation?
Thanks.
Saludos,
Colin
Hi, I think the translation for 12 is wrong, it's not saying anything about being "key":
In Nicaragua there are amazing islands and keys in the Caribbean Sea.What's the difference between "que" and "quien"
I don't understand why this is wrong:
"Los fontaneros, ________ vienen esta tarde, van a arreglar el grifo."
Why is it "que" insteda of "quien"?
My quiz included the example: 'Éramos nosotros los que llamamos a la puerta.'
Why is the pronoun positioned after the conjugated verb in this case?
It says ' Do you prefer to wait sitting or standing' and I had to fill in the gap for prefer/preferir.
' Usted prefiere esperar de pie o sentado?'
I don't understand how prefiere is the answer and not prefieres
Is the preposition "a" used for other cases in Spanish besides expressing a part of the day?
Obtuve más de lo que quería. (I got more than I wanted.)
This sentence seems to require más de, though it is a comparison, and no numbers are involved. Can you explain this, please?
"El hemisferio meridional" is an accepted (though perhaps less common) equivalent of "southern hemisphere." Perhaps it could be added as a correct answer.
