When should we use "Si" or "Como?"

With the sentence below, is it also ok to use Si? If not, why? Is it because Si triggers the subjunctive?

Como me ofrezcan el trabajo voy a hacer una gran fiesta.

I used ‘como imaginarías’ to translate ‘as you may imagine’. I had my English conditional head on. Would that be acceptable and understandable?

Be careful because with other hundreds like 203, 345, etc., the tens and units do not change, just the hundreds.

i thought it had to agree with the gender of the noun la maleta so toda
