Please explain why como does not have an accent in the sentence and clarify why an accent is placed on the letter “o”

Please could you explain why in the writing translation exercise on Picasso the correct answer is “fue pintado” in the passive form and not estaba pintado. Please explain the distinction between the 2 sentences

I’m confused about the sentence “Yo le dije que la quería”. Why not “Yo LA dije que la quería”

Por qué se marcó incorrecta mi respuesta cuando escribí: La feria de Navidad de (no en) Dallas. A pesar de dar un sugerencia que utiliza (de) en vez de 

'en'

Por qué se marcó incorrecta el uso de gradas en lugar de 'stands' o ṕuestos.
