If estar is to be used with a location, why use ser to discuss where one is from?
Me extraña que él quiera venir al cine con nosotras. (I'm surprised he wants to come to the cinema with us.)
I'm confused by what appears to be third person (extraña) rather than first person (extraño) in this sentence. Please explain. Is it similar to use of the verb "gustar" --- where third person is used?

Hello,
A couple of questions:
1. How to tell when to use an article in cases like this:
Kwizbot Mañana vamos a ir a la Sierra de Atapuerca.
You Mañana vamos a ir a Sierra de Atupuerca.
2. Why “there” does not translate to “allá”
and many people travel there
Kwizbot y muchas personas viajan a este lugar
You y muchas personas viajan allá
Am I right that I could exchage qué poco with cuánto and the sentence would be correct just with an opposite meaning?
The Larousse Spanish Dictionary shows: -3. (en frases) ¡a mí qué! so what?, why should I care?; para mí: (yo creo) as far as I'm concerned, in my opinion; por mí: as far as I'm concerned; por mí, no hay inconveniente it's fine by me
How do we get to the: para mí: I have a feeling that ?
Even after the lengthy explanation it's still unclear.
Por mí que cierren el cine. why should I care if the close down the cinema =Por mí si ellos cierren el cine?
No?
La oracion: "que los compra acto seguido por internet" seems rather cumbersome. Is that the "Spanish" way of making such a statement? Why couldn't the same meaning be expressed as: "comprará los por internet".
Gracias.
