I just wanted to check with you if there is an error in the following sentence from this passage: 

...compañías ofrecen sin dudar la tecnología más vanguardista...

"a pesar de que" is not wrong. I think your system should be fixed.

This goes against everything else I have learned or am learning in the classroom  - I cannot remember two sets of rules.  Any correct answer should be marked as correct, whether the so-called Latin American version or  Spanish version.   There doesn't need to be only 1 correct answer.

I have a particular interest in art, so I enjoyed doing this exercise. Yet, I have to agree with David that this lesson was possibly more challenging than the AI level. 

I needed to listen to the measurements several times because I was unfamiliar with the use of "veinte coma dos" for example. (Although, I should have guessed, since this is similar to the French use of a comma instead of a decimal point.) After the first measurement, I was able to understand the second one. A good learning experience for me. I am coming back to Spanish, and have a lot to review and much more to learn for the first time.

May I suggest that there is a link to a lesson about numbers with decimals?

1. Solo escuche como toco.

2. Solo escuche cómo toco.

This lesson says «present tense is used to talk about the past event», which is fine, in English too it happens.

However, there is another lesson in C1, «simple future or conditional tenses are also used» to talk about the past event.

Can someone please explain when to use the present tense, and when to use simple future/conditional to talk about the past event? Or, in the same situation, present tense and future/conditional tense is inter-changeable??

In a lesson, the question asked about the Canary Islands. Since the islands will always be in the ocean, I answered "son' instead of "estan" and it was wrong.

Why was "por lo tanto" marked wrong in this test? It is perfectly correct, isn't it?
