There was no hint to use numerals, and so I spelled out the number (cuarenta y ocho). Typically, there's a hint indicating that numerals (i.e., Roman or otherwise) should be used.

Hola Pati,
They have just released two new lessons in the A2 category specifically on writing numbers as numerals or text, and Roman numerals for centuries; there are instructions on what is required in Spanish and what is not acceptable. I have found these helpful as they make it very clear. You can find the lessons if you open up your brain map and look for the grey tiles.
I think because this is a C1 lesson they made it a bit more challenging and left out the instructions. I must try it. Saludos. John

Hola Pati
You're right, there was no hint, so we've included one instructing to use "digits".
Saludos cordiales
Inma
