If you translate "gustar" with "please" it becomes much easier to understand:
Le gustan mujeres: him please women - women please him - he likes women
It's not a question, it's a way to understand that - in this case - mujeres is the subject and decides the form of the verb
Hi,
In the sentence, "Los pájaros son sus animales favoritos.", how can you tell who 'sus' is without a prompt?
Thanks.

Does anyone know of a good free online language exchange?
Suppose I wanted to say something like, "I wouldn't have minded if they got married, I was seeing someone else", or "I didn't care if the wrecked their's appetite with ice cream, I wasn't going to make dinner anyway" is there no combination of tenses that would admit the use o "por mí que"?
Yo seleccioné primero la correcta y luego la cambié, porque me pone en duda, ya que mi español es de Puerto Rico, esas palabras de vosotros, vuestros, vayaís, pondréis, pondríais, son un poco confusas; pero sí me fascina el español. Soy de Puerto Rico, viviendo en EU.
¿Cuál es la diferencia entre "tener el pelo claro" y "ser rubio"?
Hola a todos
I just found this sentence on Kwiziq:
'He estado de viaje y me ha encantado todo'
So, with de I guess roughly this means 'I have been doing travelling'
But please can someone explain...
1) The differences between using 'he estado de viajar' vs 'he estado viajando'?
2) And can we use 'he estado de +infinitive' with all verbs?
Saludos
