What is the difference between tener que and deber?
I know for "¡Ni loca te presto dinero!" if you want to use "ni que fuera" it goes: "Ni que fuera loca. . . " but what do you replace "presto" with? i.e. "Ni que fuera loca te ___ dinero."
The link to "common colours" in this lesson is wrong. When I click on it, I just get taken back to the beginning of this lesson.
In one of the examples, "las legumbres" is translated as "pulses". Shouldn't that be "legumes"?
I don't understand the use of menudo here because it means small and the question uses very often not very small. Can you explain this to me?
There's only sound for 2 of these words. The rest don't have an option to listen to them.
Hi everyone!
I am a new member of the community and would like to know what to use the forums for? What are the guidelines, who are the mods etc? Thanks!
No entiendo cuando usar "o sea" o "es decir". Me puedes ayudar?
Hola Inma,
I really like this construction. The words "I'm warning you" or "I'm telling you" are dropped, and I imagine the full meaning would be implied by the tone of voice that the speaker uses.
I wonder whether this is like the reverse of phrases such as "Que tengas un buen día" or "Que disfrutáis el partido" where "I hope / wish" is implied and you are left with "Have a good day / Enjoy the match."??? Perhaps there is a separate lesson on this already, which doesn't come to mind right now.
Saludos
John
