At " Con la nueva red 5G, podrán acceder a Internet", why is it 'a Internet' and not 'al Internet'?
Also, how do i know when and where to use a passive se sentence Instead of a regular simple future tense as seen here: "los coches automáticos se controlarán" ? I was going to say 'los coches automáticos controlarán' without the se.
I know that "hay" means "there is/are" but how do I say the same in the future & the past?
Hola,
Is it possible to convert this structure into the past tense, as if I was telling a story in the continuous past:
Hacía tres meses que Nuria vivía en California.
Or does this structure only work in the present?
Gracias,
Stuart
Should I add "estar + gerund" to list of verbs that act like Gustar?
I don't understand.
I would think that because people hang curtains inside, it would be logical to use “rincón” instead of “esquina”.
Hello, I'm trying to get a better understanding of when to use different constructions.
Specifically:
Si Amalia va al mercado, comprará pescado fresco.
Si Amalia fuera al mercado, compraría pescado fresco.
These two constructions express the same idea. How do we know which one to choose? Is our choice solely based on the probability of the action in the "si" clause?
Thanks.
Excellent having these examples of pleasantries all in one place.
1) Just wondering if "las ciencias medioambientales" is the most common way to say environmental sciences? The online dictionary I used suggested "la ciencia ambiental".
2) Can you use "así" in place of "de esta manera" in the sentence: "cree que de esta manera podrá ayudar..."?
Probably not.
