Omission of plural definite articleI notice that the translation of "I never go to rock concerts" omits the plural definite article. This seems unusual for Spanish. Is there a specific reason?

AccentsPlease explain the rules for accents in Spanish -- not just written accents, but we also need to know which is the stressed syllable in a word without written accents that we have not heard before. This is very confusing because most explanations I have seen elsewhere only describe rules for written accents in terms of the variation from the usual norms for pronunciation but that is not helpful if we don't know what the norm is.

Placement of pronounsI'm getting confused. This lesson tells us pronouns can go before the conjugated verb or after the verb, attached to it, except with imperatives it must be the latter. I seem to remember a situation in which they must go before the verb but can't remember what it is.

Present tense v. presente progresivoOne of my Spanish grammar books says that the present tense in Spanish can be translated both by the present simple and the present progressive in English. So, for example, they said ella canta could translate both as "she sings" and "she is singing." My question is what is the difference between translating the present tense that way, and using el presente progresivo. Are the meanings different? When do I use one or the other in Spanish if I want to talk about an ongoing action? Thanks for any guidance.
