Please forgive me. I am having difficulty writing the sentences.
It should be:
But I don't understand the use of 'que' in the following:
Tengo algo que contarte
When 'para' is used in the other two examples
Hope I did not confuse you too much.
I understand the use of 'para' in these sentences:
¿Quieres algo para comer?
Tengo algo que contarte
Can you help?¿Necesitaba algo para escribir?
But I don't understand the use of 'que' in the following:
El smoking es tan elegante como el frac.
I find this example strange, can you check the audio to ensure it matches? I am having trouble with "smoking" how would that be pronounced? Ess-mo-keng? I guess this word is just throwing me for a loop
I have the worst time remembering which one is what. I get ese/esa and esto/esta mixed up all the time. Any suggestions on how to remember them?
Aquello/aquella isn't so hard to remember since it's so different
In the examples of "¿Quién prepara la fiesta a Sofía?" and "Nosotros les preparamos la cena a nuestros invitados."
Why use 'a' instead of 'para' (for) or 'por' (on behalf of)?
