For the quiz question: "Mira a ese chico, ¡qué bueno está!

having both 

" Look at that guy! He is hot!"

and

" Look at that guy! He is cute!"

as possible answers is confusing. In American English at least, there can be a great deal of overlap between hot and cute in terms of indicating sexual attractiveness. (Cute can also be applied to, say, a puppy whereas it's unlikely you would say a puppy was hot unless you meant it quite literally. It's debatable whether a cute puppy could grow into a hot dog.)

Here, we could have used the preposition "a"with the same intention:

Although the note on the question suggests the imperfect of Poder I think the translation should use the conditional, Podría rather than podía

one of the options was: quitarle importancia a los prooblemas. I can't undertand the le. Why not les, in order to correspond with the los problemas?

In this question, would both of these answers be correct for: How would you say "The little girls who I went to the park with were your daughters."?

Las niñas con las que fui al parque eran tus hijas.

Las niñas para las que fui al parque eran tus hijas.

hi. Im a litttle confused as to when we use "fui" to represent the past, and say "i was" vs "estuve" vs "era" .... To say, for instance, "i was en Mexico" I can say both "estuve en Mexico" and "fui en Mexico", whats the actual difference between the two...

why the use of the imperfect here:  

Kwizbot ¡Era muy bonita! 

Question 2: 

Kwizbot En el jardín había una piscina muy grande 
You En el jardín había una muy grande piscina 

How to learn this structure, what rules govern this use.

I was wondering why the sentence "in the evening..." is translated with "por laS tardeS...". Why is it plural here? Would "por la tarde" also be correct?
