No se puede viajar a ese país hasta que ________ seguro.

I don't understand why this sentence is translated as ... ('we' can't travel). Wouldn't it be podemos for *we* ? I thought *puede* was singular for he/her/it

I also don't understand why the answer is *sea* and not *se*

Can someone please explain.

"tu espalda te va a dar" In this sentence, why is "tu espalda" used, whereas in one of the lessons, whereas in this lesson the definitive article is used. Using definite articles el, la, los, las in Spanish with bodyparts and clothing (Artículo definido)%252Fsearch%253Fs%253Dbody%2526model%253Dgrammar

Also, would "va a darte" also be correct?

Are 'al atardececer' and 'al atardecer' the same? I can't find atardececer in any dictionary.

indefinido and imperfecto

I don't understand why the imperfect "Teníamos que llevar" is used and not the preterite. After studying again when to use imperfect, it would seem that this sentence is " We used to have to wear" or "We were having to wear", whereas "We had to wear" would be "Tuvimos que llevar". I can't see how the phrase "We had to wear protective hats" suggests it is ongoing and not completed. Obviously I'm wrong but I don't get it.

"Alfredo se quedó tan sorprendido que se puso pálido"

Por qué no es "se puso tan sorprendido"? En la explicación de grammática 'Using convertirse en / ponerse / hacerse / quedarse´, se dice que se debería usar ´quedar´ por los cambios permenantes, y poner por los temporales.
