Girar is not, and certainly not 'torcer',   used for a person to "turn" when giving directions - just 'ir'.  Faulty vocab for this context.

Hi, the question is "Which of the following expressions are followed by the subjunctive?"

And the options are: Tememos que , Es incierto que, Es verdad que,Es cierto que.

I say confusing becasue in fact all 4 can be use with subjunctive but just becasue not all answers fall in doubt or uncertain, the system marked me wrong. Maybe you can consider changing the options?

Are there other examples besides just these? I have a Spanish dictionary that says that the word "internet" can be either feminine or masculine, with both "la internet" and "el internet" being correct. Could you provide any other words that do the same besides just the few that are provided in the lesson?

I used 'cuando suene la alarma' and was corrected to 'cuando suena la alarma'. I notice that an alternative could be 'cuando suene el despertador' so would my original translation, using the subjunctive with 'la alarma', be ok to use?

In the Yucatan in Mexico, I have heard el derecho for straight ahead. It is quite confusing with 'la derecha' for the right. Todo recto is much better!
