Quiz said to say “ella” but not “él”

In one quiz answer it marked me wrong for choosing “Se llama [girl’s name],” saying I should have chosen “Ella se llama…” Then in the next quiz I chose “Él se llama” and it was marked wrong, saying I should have chosen “Se llama.” I’m confused, what is the difference?

Sorprende instead of es sorprendente Mi hermano ________sorprende a veces. My brother is so clumsy that it's surprising/shocking sometimes.es tan torpe hastatiene un torpe quees de un torpe queHola, is there a lesson on using the 3rd person singular indicative instead of ser + adjective? No "Although"

In one of the questions you have this statement:

"but now he lives in Italy

HINT: but = pero, now = ahora, put "now" after "although" "

but there is no "although" in the statement

More coincidences: crear, creer

You say, “ Other conjugations of crear and creer coincide in their spelling. Have a look a the following table; for crear it is the present indicative and for creer it is the present subjunctive. ”

Is there not still a difference in the yo form so that one is yo creo and the other yo crea?

Una gran lección pero tengo preguntas . . .

With: "Both rivers, the Amazon and the Orinoco, and their respective basins", why does Amazon get pluralized to "Amazonas"? I've seen that the masculine is "el Amazonas" and the feminine is "la Amazona". Why is that, please? I'm wondering about the use of "el río Amazonas" versus "la selva Amazona" and "la selva Amazonica".

How does "se nos" change the meaning of "Uno de esos ríos que enseguida viene a la mente" -v- "Uno de esos ríos que enseguida se nos viene a la mente".

And the use of "ello" . . . does "ello" not mean "it" or "that"? Is the use of "ello" as "this" merely the uneducated English useage where "this" and "that" and their appropriate relationships to time and place become misused? : "An example of that is Caño Cristales, a natural sanctuary."

And why the use of the future tense "existirán en otros lugares del mundo"?

When I find my car keys

Hola 😊

I translated the above as Cuando me encuentre las llaves. I was marked wrong, the answer is said to lack the "me". I think without the "me" they could be anybody's keys. Am I wrong?
