Variations of 'Stop doing something'

In English there is a difference between 'stop smoking' as in put down the cigarette your smoking right now and 'stop to smoke' as in in quit smoking for good. Anything like that in Spanish?

Hola Alex

For your first sentence "stop smoking right now , [put it down]" we can still use the same structure in Spanish: " Deja de fumar", or also "Para de fumar" although we can be a bit more accurate and say "¡Apaga ese cigarrillo!" (Put down that cigarette!) -this would definitely refer to the smoking happening at the time of speaking.
