Using querer
Instead of using the verb querer could you say me gustaria for I would like?

Hola Chris
Me gustaría is not notmally used in this sort of context although it also means "I'd like". We normally use "me gustaría" when you say you'd like "to do" something, but not as a polite request. Here's a lesson on "me gustaría" so you can see some examples.
