Translation Question

I do not understand the translation of the first sentence. Which word in Spanish represents activities?
En verano en Madrid hay una oferta grande de ocio. In summer, there are a lot of leisure activities available in Madrid.

Hola Mi Chel,

This sentence doesn't have a literal translation in English;this is why we used the  most natural translation. In Spanish it is saying literally: "In summer in Madrid there is a big offer of leisure." As this cannot be translated literally in English, we need to use the equivalent, said in the most natural way.

I hope this helped.

Saludos cordiales,

Inma
