4 y 6 grados de alcohol shows as "degrees" of alcohol. Are "degrees" and "percent" interchangeable in Spanish? I've never seen it that way in English

Hola Garry
As far as I know, in Spain, when you see the % of alcohol that a bottle contains, that is equivalent to the "degrees", so it it says that it is 4 grados, that means that it has a 4% of alcohol.
I am assuming it is the same in Mexico.
Saludos
