In "Ella se viste siempre ..." above, is this subjunctive, if so, why?

Hi,

Prior to this lesson I was reading about the subjuntive case of verbs.  It seems that in the sentence above, the subjunctive case has been used.  It does not appear to satisfy the WEIRDO requirements.

Can you please tell me why 'ella se visite' has been used and not 'ella se visita'?

Hola Colin,

we are not using the subjunctive in this sentence:

Ella se viste siempre de negro. (She always wears black.)

"Se viste" is from the verb "vestirse" which is conjugated in the 3rd person singular of the present indicative:

Yo me visto, tú te vistes, él/ella se viste, 

nosotros nos vestimos, vosotros os vestís, ellos se visten

I think you may be getting confused with the verb "visitar". Visita is the present indicative and visite is the present subjunctive, for he/she.
