Fill in the blanks quiz questions

I did one of the fill in the blanks quizzes. The prompt read "what vegetables will I need" and "look, first you buy fresh vegetables"

Neither of these are phrased in the passive and the second sounds like it could be a command. If they had been phrased "what vegetables are needed?" and "first one buys fresh vegetables", then I could see. Are there reasons that my answers are wrong??

Here's what I put:

Lidia] Ah pues dime, ¿qué verduras necesitan?

[Sonia] Mira, primero compra verduras frescas

Hola R

We try to use the most natural translations in English despite not being literal to the Spanish text. The introduction to this fill-in-the-blank exercise says: "Choose the correct passive form from the hint."

We'll try to make it a bit more obvious.

Un saludo cordial

I would find the literal translation much more helpful.  As an English speaker, it's not hard for me to mentally change the literal translation to a natural translation but it's quite difficult to go in the other direction.
