English translation confusing No tengo decidido el regalo de aniversario para Juan todavía" means: i haven’t got Juan’s anniversary present figured out yet. Hi, i looked up “to figure out” on spanishdictionary.com and decidir wasn’t one of the verbs. No luck with Word Reference. Thanks, Shirley.

Using of en or por for transport

hi, the last sentence says 'i like travelling by train'.

Why is 'viajar por tren' wrong? and when do we use 'en' for transport?

English translation _Tengo leído_______ medio libro y es muy aburrido. I am halfway through the book and it is very boring. Hi, another suggestion to use the literal English translation: I have read half the book and it is very boring. “ I am halfway through the book” translates to “Estoy a mitad del libro”.

English Translation not helpful. Algunas mujeres luchan ________ se reconozcan sus derechos laborales. Some women fight for the recognition of their work rights.Answer: por que.
Hi, a comment, the meaning of por que would be clearer by using the literal English translation. “Some women fight so that their work rights are recognized”. The English used here translates into Algunas mujeres luchan por el reconocimiento de sus derechos laborales. Shirley.

In one quiz there was a sentence: Hace calor. Saldré al jardin un rato. Voy a salir sounds more natural and is what I hear more often from South Americans. Is the use of the future tense more common in Spain?
