Conjugate recordar, acordar and acordarse (o > ue) stem-changing -ar verbs in the present tense (El Presente)

Recordar (to remember), Acordar (to agree) and Acordarse (to remember) are stem-changing -ar verbs in El Presente in Spanish.

Notice how for all three verbs, the first vowel -o- becomes -ue- 

EXCEPT for nosotros/nosotras and vosotros/vosotras where it remains -o-.
The endings however are the same as all regular -ar verbs in El Presente

Yo recuerdo muchas cosas de la niñez.I remember lots of things from my childhood.

¿Recuerdas a qué hora viene Marta?Do you remember what time Marta is coming? [you=tú]

Él no recuerda nada desde el accidente.He can't remember anything since the accident.

Perdón, no recordamos vuestros nombres.Sorry, we can't remember your names.

¿Recordáis esa canción?Do you remember that song? [you=vosotros]

Ellas recuerdan los detalles con claridad.They remember the details clearly.

¿Ustedes recuerdan si el hombre llevaba una gorra?Do you remember if the man was wearing a hat?

Note that acordar (to agree/make an agreement) and acordarse (to remember) have very different meanings despite looking nearly the same. 

Also, remember that whilst recordar and acordarse mean the same, the first is not reflexive while the second is. Plus you will often see the preposition de after acordarse.

Me acuerdo mucho de ti.I think about you a lot. [lit: I remember you a lot]

¿Tú te acuerdas de su dirección?Do you remember his address?
