Conjugate regular verbs in the conditional in Spanish (El Condicional Simple)

Verbs that are regular in the conditional in Spanish follow a simple rule. The set of endings coincide with those of the imperfect tense for -er/-ir verbs.

Learn how to conjugate Spanish regular verbs in El Condicional Simple 

El Condicional Simple is formed by adding these endings to the Infinitivo:

yo -ía
-ías
él / ella / Ud. -ía
nosotros -íamos
vosotros -íais
ellos / ellas / Uds.   -ían

These endings apply to all regular -ar, -er and -ir verbs. Note that these are the same as the endings for -er and -ir verbs in El Pretérito Imperfecto.
