Using me, te, nos, os = me, you, us, you plural (direct object pronouns)

Me, te, nos, and os are pronouns: they replace a noun (a person) used as the direct object in the sentence.

Have a look at these sentences:

¿Tú me quieres?Do you love me?

Sí, te quiero.Yes, I love you.

Nuestros novios nos abrazaron fuertemente.Our boyfriends hugged us tightly.

¡Os están filmando con la cámara!They're filming you (plural) with the camera!

 

Direct object pronouns are used with transitive verbs

Note that these direct object pronouns have the same form as their equivalent as indirect object pronouns. See also Using me, te, le, nos, os, les (indirect object pronouns)

 

The direct object pronoun is placed in front of the conjugated verb.

Here are some other examples:

Esas películas me aterrorizan.Those movies terrify me.

Me has interrumpido; estoy hablando.You interrupted me; I'm talking.

Te estoy observando. I'm watching you.

Nos borraron de la lista.They deleted us from the list.

El niño me miraba.The boy was watching me.

Tranquilas, nosotros os ayudamos.Don't worry, we [can/will] help you (plural).
