Conjugate yo-go verbs in the present subjunctive in Spanish (El Presente de Subjuntivo)

In Spanish there are irregular verbs that use the ending -go in the yo form of the present tense in the indicative in Spanish. See Spanish yo-go verbs

All yo-go verbs in Spanish, i.e.verbs where the yo form ends in -go in El Presente, take that -g to form El Presente de Subjuntivo and keep it all the way through the conjugation. However, El Presente de Subjuntivo endings are the same as regular -er and -ir verbs endings.

Two common verbs are tener (to have) and venir (to come).

No tengas miedo, yo estoy aquí.Don't be afraid, I am here.

No vengáis más tarde de las diez.Don't arrive any later than ten. [referring to "vosotros"]

¿Dígame? - Hola, ¿puedo hablar con Juan?[on the phone, lit: speak to me] Hello?  - Hello, may I speak to Juan?

Es mejor que pongas los vasos en el lavavajillas.It's best if you put the glasses in the dishwasher. [you=tú]

Hagamos lo correcto.Let's do the right thing.

Es conveniente que ellos traigan las sombrillas a la playa.It'd be good if they brought the parasols to the beach.

Ojalá tengan suerte y consigan el trabajo.I wish you are lucky and get the job. [you=ustedes]
