El Condicional Perfecto is used in Spanish to say something would have happened.

It's formed using haber in the conditional plus the past participle of the second verb:

yo habría  
habrías  
él/ella/usted habría   +  past participle
nosotros  habríamos  
vosotros habríais  
ellos /ustedes habrían  

Look at these examples of regular verbs in El Condicional Perfecto:

Si lo hubiera sabido antes, yo habría trabajado hasta muy tarde aquel día.If I had known it before, I would have worked until very late that day.

habrías caminado muchos kilómetros para llegar a Santiago de Compostela.You would have walked many kilometers to arrive in Santiago de Compostela.

Pienso que él no habría comprendido toda la explicación de vocabulario sin la ayuda del profesor.I think that he would not have understood the whole vocabulary explanation without the teacher's help.

Ella habría cogido todos los vestidos sin pedir permiso.She would have taken all the dresses without asking for permission.

Nosotros habríamos dividido la clase en dos grupos.We would have divided the class in two groups.
